On Thursday 26th January, Year 2 set off on a blustery walk around Macosquin Village. As part of our topic "Houses and Homes" we have been learning about different types of homes and today, we were able to put our learning in to practice. We spotted bungalows, detached, semi-detached and terraced houses. We also looked at different features of the village including the school, church and post box. We even stopped in at the shop to pick up a special treat and helped Miss Dunlop work out how to pay for our goodies. The cold, wintry weather did not stop the boys and girls from having fun- a great morning was had by all!
