- In the first term, we dive deep into revising all the key mathematical concepts.
- After Christmas, we stretch our thinking with algebra, angles using a protractor, and averages.
- Every week, we tackle exciting challenges using our IZAK9 cubes, exploring:
- Prime numbers
- Multiples
- All four operations
- Bearings
- And much more!
🌿 Wild Wednesdays are a highlight of our week! We take our learning outdoors to explore mathematical concepts in creative and active ways—chalk, netball courts, and nature become our classroom!
📖 Reading That Makes Us Think
We’re building powerful reading skills like:
- Inference
- Authorial technique
- Prediction
- Cause and effect
Through shared and modelled reading, plus small group guided sessions, we dive into books and bring stories to life through discussion and discovery.
