Cathy from Dogs Trust came to visit Macosquin on Monday morning and brought her poodle Gillie along with her! Cathy told the P1-3 pupils all about how to stay safe around dogs and how to approach them correctly and then they all had a chance to practise what they had been told and stroke Gillie.
After break Cathy and Gillie came into P7 and talked about what it takes to care for a dog and the responsibilities that fall on dog owners. We enjoyed having Cathy and Gillie in to visit and we hope to have them back soon!
