We are delighted to announce that our Senior Choir has been honoured with a special award this afternoon at the closing ceremony of Coleraine Music Festival. This recognition is a testament to their dedication, hard work and exceptional talent.
Our Senior Choir has been awarded the “William A. King MBE Memorial Trophy,”presented by his family for beautiful hymn singing.
The choir's performance of the Latin hymn, “Locus Iste,” which translates to “This Place was Made by God,” was stunning! Their interpretation of this sacred piece showcased not only their technical proficiency but also their deep understanding of the hymn's spiritual significance.
Winning this award is a fantastic recognition of our Senior Choir's talent and dedication in their performances. We're incredibly proud of what they've achieved and can't wait for our next Festival in April.
