P1 and Reception welcomed two very exciting visitors into class today! Hannah and Jaz from St John’s Ambulance paid a visit to tell us all about their important job and they answered all of the questions we had for them. They even told us about the important numbers we needed to call if there was ever was an accident and we needed help.
To further our learning and reduce the fear of ever needing to travel in an ambulance, we stepped inside and learned about all of the apparatus needed to help people. We even got to listen to our heartbeat with a stethoscope 🩺
Such a wonderful practical learning opportunity! Thank you Hannah and Jaz, we really loved having you. 🚑
