Today, our Primary 6 class embarked on an exciting educational trip to the Portrush Coastal Zone. The children had a brilliant morning, filled with engaging activities and fascinating discoveries about marine life. They learned about a variety of sea creatures, including lobsters, sharks, dolphins, and many more. The hands-on experience allowed them to see these amazing creatures up close and understand their habitats and behaviours.
A special thanks to Michael for facilitating this morning's activities. His expertise and enthusiasm made the learning experience truly memorable for everyone. The children were particularly thrilled to learn about the unique adaptations of lobsters, the impressive hunting skills of sharks, and the playful nature of dolphins.
Overall, it was a fantastic morning of learning and exploration, deepening the children’s knowledge for our topic on “Coasts and Lighthouses”.
