On Wednesday 5th June, Primary Five pupils made the train journey to Cultra Folk and Transport Museum. Shortly after arriving and settling in, the children explored the beautiful parkland of the Ulster Folk Museum, where they encountered costumed locals demonstrating traditional crafts in cottages, farm dwellings, schools and shops. The children experienced what it was like to step back in time and experience what life was like in Ulster over one hundred years ago! In the evening, the children got freshened up for The Barn Dance. Primary Five also took part in the traditional ‘Cultra’s Got Talent’ show where they showcased all their different talents. Miss Cubitt and Mr Grant really enjoyed hosting the talent show! On 7th June, the children made the return journey.
We have taken away lots of memories that we will cherish for a long time to come.
