During November and December, P5 pupils have been learning about The Human Body and Ancient Egypt in their ‘Alive and Kicking’ Thematic Unit. We have learned about the major organs in our body, the digestive, circulatory and skeletal systems and we have carried out practical activities which helped to extend our learning. We have learned about how the Ancient Egyptians wrote hieroglyphics and we have studied Egyptian artwork. When we were learning about the pyramids, we linked up with Numeracy to learn about 3D shapes and their properties. Check out the photographs to see a snapshot of our learning!
