Our Reception children have been enjoying the lovely mild weather outdoors. Cakes were on the menu in the mid ktichen- delicious chocolate cakes decorated with pink flowers picked in our sensory garden.🌸 We pulled some carrots and observed their shape and size-how nice to be able to pick our own vegetables! The children decided they would like to use them in the kitchen - carrot cakes now! We also pulled some broad beans and to our surprise they were such an unusual colour - pink and purple! We wondered if they were magic beans? What would grow if we planted them? Let’s wait and see! Lots of excitement and a great week of learning in Reception.😊🌟
