Reception and Primary 1 had such fun today using the natural materials in our sensory garden to make faces and developed their mathematical skills by sorting small, medium and large leaves into containers.
Primary 4 had a fantastic time learning about right angles, acute angles and obtuse angles. In class we learned about the differences between the angles and identifying them. After this we went outside to draw angles using chalk.
Primary 6 are learning all about ‘Space’ and our class novel is the fantastic book, ‘Cosmic’.
The main character in our novel, Liam Digby, is only 12 but extremely tall! This inspired us to measure ourselves! A fun lesson of measuring our heights in cm and ordering our heights from tallest to shortest! When we arrived back into the classroom we used the Just2Easy app to create a bar graph showing our heights!
