On Thursday 14th April Year 2D visited Castlerock Garden Centre. We had so much fun exploring the centre, looking at the different plants, decorations and even animals! The visit supported and enhanced learning of our current topic, "In the Garden" and allowed the children to experience the garden centre first hand. We got so many ideas that we have decided to set up "Macosquin Garden Centre" as a role play area in our classroom. We have priced our items and have baskets and a till just like we saw in the garden centre.
Mr Henry showed us how to plant different types of seeds and we bought some seeds at the shop to have a go at planting some of our own in school. Check back in a few months to see what we have grown!
