Macosquin Primary School is excited to be involved in the INPP School's Programme, a pioneering initiative designed to enhance children's learning and development through targeted physical exercises.

The INPP (Institute for Neuro-Physiological Psychology) School's Programme focuses on improving neuromotor skills, which are crucial for academic success and overall well-being. By addressing underlying neuromotor immaturities, the programme helps children develop better co-ordination, balance, and control, which can lead to significant improvements in reading, writing, and concentration.

Key benefits of the INPP School's Programme include:

Enhanced Academic Performance: Studies have shown that children participating in the INPP programme often demonstrate marked improvements in reading and writing skills.

Improved Behaviour and Focus: The exercises help children develop better self-regulation and attention, leading to a more conducive learning environment.

Support for Special Educational Needs: The programme has been particularly beneficial for children with special educational needs, helping them make significant progress in their academic and personal development.

Holistic Development: By focusing on physical development, the programme supports children's overall growth, including their emotional and social well-being.

We will be sending two more members of staff to be trained in the INPP School’s Programme in March.
