Research has shown that gardening helps children to acquire the essential skills they need to fulfil their potential in a rapidly-changing world. This week, every child in school had the opportunity to develop these skills by participating in our first Gardening Week of the year. The boys and girls had lots of fun tidying, weeding, harvesting and preparing our Sensory Garden and school grounds for winter. One lucky class even got to sample some MPS rhubarb! We look forward to tasting the rest of our yummy vegetables over the next few weeks.
