P5 had a cookery demonstration from the Livestock and Meat Commission on Wednesday as part of their new programme for primary schools. Our demonstrator, Wenda, cooked a delicious dish of Chilli Beef Pasta and while everything was sizzling in the pan, she explained about the farm to fork journey of local food and how our local farmers produce beef and lamb to world leading standards. Not only was there a fantastic smell coming from the P5 classroom, pupils also got to taste the dish afterwards. Thank you LMC, and especially to Wenda!
