After finding blackberries in our Sensory Garden, our Reception children decided they wanted to use the blackberries in the home corner. They used them to make fruit skewers, mashed, stirred and whisked them and discovered they made blackberry juice! They tasted them- yummy! We then painted with the juice observing the wonderful purple colour and consistency- some lumpy bits and some was runny. Wonderful!
