A beautiful day to play the beautiful game! Our P5, 6 & 7 pupils played well in their first round match against Portrush in the Doherty Cup. After an early goal from Fionn we held the lead for the rest of the first half. The second half was a much trickier affair with Portrush’s relentless attack. After 10 mins of determined defending our opponents finally broke through. We unfortunately drop out of the cup run and will try our luck in the shield this year! With plenty to learn from today we will be back, better than ever! All the best to Portrush in the rest of their matches this year!
