Cress Heads!
Year 2D are very pleased to report that our cress plants are thriving! We planted the seeds we bought at the garden centre and have been watching them change every day. Look at the pictures to see the fantastic progress! The tiny seeds grew shoots, stems and little leaves. Now they are big, green cress plants! As we know that plants need water and light to grow, we have been sure to put our cress plants on the windowsill and we have given them water every day.
As we are trying to look after our environment, we planted our seeds in old yogurt pots and recycled containers. Very soon we will be decorating the pots with faces, so that the cress we have grown will look like hair and we will have our very own 'cress heads'!
