Choir sing at St Anne’s Cathedral

15th Dec 2024

It was an absolute honour for our Senior Choir to be invited to sing at the annual Carol Service for the Northern Ireland Prison Service at Saint Anne’s Cathedral in Belfast today. This event was truly memorable for the children, creating memories that will last a lifetime! A special mention goes to Reuben, who opened the service with the first verse of "Once in Royal David’s City." You were truly amazing - what a talent to sing unaccompanied in front of such a large audience! I would also like to express a huge thanks to our six solo singers who were also exceptional and performed beautifully! The sound of the choir was fantastic in the cathedral, enhanced by the amazing acoustics.

The children were absolutely phenomenal, showcasing their incredible talent and dedication. Their performances were nothing short of spectacular, leaving everyone in awe and celebrating the true meaning of Christmas. Massive thanks to Emma-Jayne from the N.I.P.S for organising all of the generous treats for the children and staff. It was an absolute pleasure to be asked and to be part of this Carol Service. We are truly honoured!

Finally, a massive thanks to Amanda Doak for travelling to Belfast to accompany our Senior Choir. We couldn’t do any of this without you!

The children's hard work and passion truly shone through, making this event an unforgettable experience for all involved.
