In the middle of a very busy school day yesterday, P5 pupils were delighted to welcome members of Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service to our classroom. We learned about the importance of having enough working smoke alarms in our homes, what to do if there is a fire and how these amazing firefighters protect themselves when they go to deal with an emergency. After the crew and fire engine left, pupils had the opportunity to explore their Safety Team packs. A big thank-you to the crew for taking the time to come and visit us and for everything they do to help our community.
