Over fifty Christmas trees were on show last weekend to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Macosquin Primary School, organised by Macosquin Friends’ Association. There has been tremendous support given by local businesses, organisations and community groups, making the festival a huge success. A total of £1800 was raised through voluntary donations, raffle sales and tea and coffee sales. It was lovely to welcome back past pupils, parents and staff as well as many other visitors from the local and wider community.
