Signs of Spring Walk

Signs of Spring Walk

Year 2D have been out and about searching for signs of the new season as part of our topic. We used our senses to discover different things that happen in the world around us when the seasons change.  We saw buds on trees and flowers in the grass, heard birds singing and bees buzzing, smelt flowers and fresh cut grass and felt the warmth of the sun (and the cold breeze) on our skin. We also explored the mini beast hotel and worm bin and sorted 'living' and 'non-living' things.

Some of us helped Miss Dunlop take photos of what we found on the iPad whilst some ticked off the signs of spring on the clipboard and others looked after the 'Bug Finders'- everyone had a special job. We have been such busy bees discovering that 'spring has sprung' in Macosquin!
